Bikini Project in Venice

After roughly 13 hrs flights from Vancouver to Venice I finally made it safely to my last destination. The beautiful Venice – the first city to be explored from the 12 days cruise thru Mediterranean ocean.

Romantic , calm, beautiful, sophisticated at the same time yet simple. Venice made me feel I was back on time, time where everything was simple and practical. The tiny streets wall by wall, the kids running everywhere having fun with each other, the boats running all the time thru the city channels, the language the gestures, the expression on their faces,  the way they speak truly fascinated me. What a beautiful culture. Made me think about all the stuff we think we need to feel “important” and “happy”. When here, apparently they don’t need much, just the peaceful calmness the city brings and each other. Real people with real values.

I had lunch on the best spot view I could find over there… I ordered chicken and veggies apparently that wasn’t their specialty – I should’ve ordered pizza –  However I got food poisoning…Yay… for the next few days the toilet was my best friend but this is another story… The place was called “Oysters Tony” do not order the oysters – if I got food poised by a chicken breast you probably will die if you eat the oysters LOL

After the lunch I had a Gelato – cream and Nutela unforgettable taste, please you gotta try it!

Time to go back, took a water taxi. The best part yet of the trip, the craaazy sunset I had the pleasure to experience. Definitely Venice is a must to go! but of course you already know that :p

Thankful for this place and all the things I saw and experienced over there. Even more thankful for being able to share it all with you guys! My Vlog about Venice – and other destinations – will be soon on my YouTube channel “Bikini Project” Season 2 make sure to subscribe 🙂

Thank you for reading!

xoxo, Isa
